Teacher: Ms. Amy Edwards

My name is Amy Edwards and this will be my second year teaching at YES Charter Academy as the 3/4 teacher.  Before that I taught 3rd grade at Nevada City School of the Arts.  And before that I was a substitute teacher and a dance teacher.  I have always loved teaching and working with children.

I live in Nevada City with my two daughters, one is a freshman in high school and the other is in 4th grade.  We enjoy walking on NID trails, swimming in the river, bird watching, gardening and watching movies.

I have always cared deeply about the environment and I am thrilled to be teaching at a school that focuses on environmental science.
