Special Education Director – (Flexible schedule, can be part time) The Director of Special Education provides leadership, oversight, and compliance support for the school’s Special Education program. Working collaboratively with administration, teachers, related service providers, families, SELPA, and community partners, the Director ensures students with disabilities receive high-quality services that meet both federal and California special education requirements.
This position combines instructional leadership with program development, compliance oversight, and staff support. The Director serves as a collaborative resource for educators while helping build systems that promote student success, continuous improvement, and legal compliance.
Schedule: Part-time, flexible schedule, 20-30 hours per week
Rate of Pay: Starting at $63,363.30 and up, based on verified experience and educational credits.

Education Specialist, SPED – (Flexible schedule, can be part time) The Education Specialist provides Specialized Academic Instruction (SAI), case management, and individualized educational services for students with disabilities. Working collaboratively with general education teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families, this position ensures students receive high-quality instruction and support in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), California Education Code, and California Department of Education (CDE) regulations.
This position combines direct instruction with case management, progress monitoring, compliance responsibilities, and collaborative consultation to support student achievement in inclusive learning environments. The Education Specialist serves as a key member of the educational team, helping students achieve meaningful academic, behavioral, and functional growth while maintaining compliance with all special education requirements.
Schedule: Flexible Schedule, can be part time or full-time, Monday – Friday 8:00a – 3:15p

Instructional Aide – The Instructional Aide provides instructional, behavioral, and classroom support to students under the direction of certificated staff and site administration. Working collaboratively with teachers and other school personnel, this position assists in implementing instructional activities, reinforcing academic and behavioral goals, supporting student supervision and safety, and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment. The Instructional Aide promotes student engagement, independence, and success while maintaining confidentiality and supporting the mission, policies, and educational objectives of YES Charter Academy.
Schedule:Part-time, 25-35 hours per week, schedule based on school needs
Rate of Pay: Starting a$18.50, rate of pay may increase based on experience
